Who we are

The Morning Portion (morningportion.com) publishes free weekday scripture reflections. The site is operated by Saucy Tech LLC. This policy describes what information we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

• Email address. If you subscribe to the daily email, we collect the email address you provide. Subscriptions are managed through Kit (ConvertKit), our email service provider.
• Technical data. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard request data — such as IP address and browser information — to serve and protect the site.
• Theme preference.Your light/dark theme choice is stored in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device.

We do not require accounts, and we do not use advertising trackers.

Payments

If you choose to support the site, payments are handled entirely by third-party processors — Stripe for card payments and your Lightning wallet provider for Lightning payments. We never see or store your card number or wallet keys. Each processor's own privacy policy applies to the data it collects.

How we use your information

We use your email address only to send you the readings you subscribed to. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it except with the service providers named above (to operate the site) or where required by law.

Unsubscribing and removal

Every email includes an unsubscribe link. To have your information removed entirely, or to ask what we hold about you, email hello@morningportion.com.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the date above. Material changes to how we handle subscriber data will be announced by email.
